I cant get epicurious to stop emailing me. I shouldnt have to make multiple requests. Im now looking for a better recipe app. This one has become too much of a hassle.

Print no longer works on iPhone app. No way to filter results There are some good recipes.

Used this app all the time. Since the last update, it is totally unusable on the iPad. Tells me to update the app - its updated. iOS is the latest. Search doesnt work at all - returns zero results regardless of search parameters. This is really frustrating because it was such a fantastic app.

Why do all the reviews repeat? Theyre often better than the recipes.

The app looks so good and all but whats the purpose of having a category for foods if you open it and its a blank page...hard to make a "Hearty Sandwich" when the recipe display doesnt work. This is an issue with multiple categories.

Yeah, having issues printing recipes, app randomly jumps around and way to many ads popping up. This is why I deleted this app the last time and will be doing again right after writing this. Better apps available; goodbye Epicurious, maybe in a year or so.

I agree with all of the criticism below. This used to be my favorite app all together and now it still works but barely.

Right out of the shoot I found and saved a recipe, added the ingredients to shopping list, and get to the store, and nothing is in the recipe box or shopping list. Clumsy UI.

PLEASE FIX THE SHOPPING LIST!!! I love the recipes on the site and I used to use the app quite a bit, but the shopping list hasnt worked for ages! I hoped the upgrade would fix this issue, but it didnt.

Its nice that you have made all these great fixes, but the app wont install.

Tried multiple times with no luck

App wont install. Great job guys. I actually had to search for the app to try to download the update, it didnt even show on my update list. All I saw was the app icon faded on my phone. Im using an iPhone 5 if that helps, but please do something.

Former pastry chef and baker- I love the great recipes on your site. The last formats have gone from bad to worse. Only able to see one recipe at a time with a note 1 out of 100+ is hardly helpful or efficient. Looking to trigger a massive headache or migraine in moments- thus is the app to check out. Way too much visual stimulation and confusion. Looking for a quick dinner idea- Id try somewhere else.

I downloaded because 3 websites told me it takes what you have in your pantry and makes meal ideas. I cant figure out how to add my pantry items so deleting app. Have 3 stars because the recipes look good.

Please fix the app. The shopping list still does not work! This was a great feature but now that it is still not functioning, it makes the app worthless!

Six months ago, there was a forced upgrade of this app - the old version was immediately broken/disabled so you had to upgrade. Ive been waiting to hear an explanation as to why this was necessary, but Im done waiting. Im deleting the app after writing this review. I can only think of two plausible explanations for why such a forced upgrade would occur: 1) a major security breach or weakness in the app that exposed personal data to hackers; or 2) an incompetent design team who feels its ok to push out major breaking changes with no warning, transition period, or explanation. Given the complete lack of info from the developer, I think its only prudent to act on the worst case assumption that your personal info was compromised and make sure you reset your password for any accounts where you shared the same password as your Epicurious account. (Yeah, we all know better than to share passwords in the first place, but laziness/convenience frequently trumps prudence.) Id be happy to revise my opinion as soon as the app developer explains what the forced upgrade was all about, but Im not holding my breath at this point. My advice: find a different app written by a more responsible developer.

Even with the latest updates, the shopping list does not work. I have not been able to use it for years now. This was the most valuable function of this app and it is now worthless. Please fix!!

Now I never have to Google how long it takes to cook something. Use my recipe box all the time to find delicious recipes in the supermarket, too. Works great.
